This is not a beta related issue/question.
Please see these browser tips (they are for Firefox, but also apply to Chrome):

This should help you understand how to set up your browsers and what kind of templates may allow them to directly save to your hard drive.

5.23.7 has been uploaded.
It is the same build as 5.23.6, but with Secure Boot support (thus, you should not receive any driver signature issues) .
